Member of the editorial board and co-author of the Report on Building Culture 2006, addressed at the Austrian federal government, Platform for Architecture Policy and Building Culture.
The report on building culture describes the status quo in Austria and tries to show the economic and social interrelations relevant for building culture. In doing so, it shall be worked against the main problem, die missing awareness for building culture as a transversal matter, especially in political decision processes and in administration. To achieve that, the report describes and proposes necessary actions on several political levels and in several fields of action. It was important to base these proposals not on individual expert's opinions, but on a foundation of broad consensus. This was made possible through the implementation of an editorial board.
My contribution as an author was an article on Architecture Politics in Europe and the Glossary for the report.
