The term culture of conversion comes from Christoph Grafe and Tim Rieniets and stands for the need to move away from the previous standard of demolition and new construction for ecological reasons (climate protection, material resources) and instead make preservation and renovation the norm. To achieve this, not only a change in awareness is needed, but also regulatory and economic changes.
