On Tuesday, November 8 at 7 p.m., the series “Architecture. 21st Century” of the Instituto Cervantes at Schwarzenbergplatz 2, 1010 Vienna, will feature a lecture by Carles Baiges of the cooperative Lacol, who built the magnificent collaborative housing project “La Borda” in Barcelona, which won the Mies van der Rohe Award this year. The project is part of the currently running exhibition “Europe’s Best Buildings” at the Architekturzentrum Wien. After the lectures by Juan Herreros in May and Carme Pinós in June, this is the next opportunity to get to know important players in contemporary Spanish architecture in Vienna.
